Southwest Truck Driving School
Shift your career into high gear!

We are training individuals for trucking companies that want safe, professional drivers. The trucking industry has full benefits, tuition reimbursement, and 401K retirement plans. Over-the-road drivers can earn up to $35,000 in the first year of driving!

We Are The Leaders In Training

With a campus in Tucson and in Phoenix, Southwest Truck Driver Training will not only train you to pass your Commercial Driver's License (CDL) test, but will also train you to become the type of professional driver companies are looking for today.

We Set The Standards In Training

Southwest Truck Driver Training is licensed by the Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division for Class A, B, C, and Bus Training, and employ 3rd Party Testers for on-site CDL testing.

Southwest Truck Driver Training is a member of the Better Business Bureau, the Tucson Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Commercial Vehicle Training Association.

Our programs are approved by the Arizona Workforce Investment Act, Arizona Department of Economic Security, Department of Vocational Rehabilitation Services, Arizona Department of Education, U.S. Vets, Maricopa Workforce Connection, Chicanos Por la Causa,  Phoenix Workforce Connection, the City of Phoenix, Friendly House, and the Bureau of Indian Affairs, as well as other agencies in the outlying areas of Arizona.

SWTDT Approved Driver Training Programs

Studies show that students who enroll in longer programs loose $80 - $150 per day or $9,000 - $12,000 in wages, when they could be working in as little as 4 - 5 weeks by taking our programs. Southwest understands the realism and the hardship of being out of work when going to school, and has designed our programs to get you back to work faster.

Bilingual Programs Available

Each program offered below is also offered in Español for the large Spanish speaking community in the Southwest. All classroom materials, visual aids, and hands-on training are taught by certified bilingual instructors. We also employ bilingual 3rd Party Testers for CDL testing.
