What is included in the program?
  1. The first two weeks you will be in the classroom going over all the necessary material to obtain your CDL A Permit.  Employer presentations, and a certified professional resume’ service are also provided.
  2. The next four weeks you will spend on the road driving with your assigned instructor.
  3. You will also spend one day riding with a truck driver to observe driving in traffic and dealing with customers.
  4. You will spend one day working in a fuel bay learning how to adjust brakes, fuel trucks, inspect tires and lights.
  5. Five days will be spent backing up the “Big Rig”, dropping and hooking up trailers.
Besides instruction, what else is covered by the tuition?
  1. $5.00 for your NYS permit
  2. $10.00 for you written exams
  3. $40.00 you first road test
 
Who schedules my road test appointment?
          All road test appointments are scheduled by the
            school.
 
What if I fail my first road test?
You will have to pay $40.00 for your next test; however, we will take you to the road test site for your second road test.
 
Is tuition assistance available?
Our case managers will assist you in finding funding sources to help with the tuition cost.
 
Do your students get jobs after completing the program?
          Ninety-five percent (95%) of our graduates get
          jobs!
 
 
CDL B - 45 hours
This course will prepare you to obtain a CDL Class B license.  Classroom instruction covers permit preparation, road safety, backing, air brakes, transportation regulations, proper inspection and operation of a class B Vehicle.  Exam fee's included.
 
 
CDL Refresher - 40 hours
A one-on-one, behind the wheel refresher course to update your skills and prepare you to enter the work force.  You must have a current CDL-A or B license or permit to enroll.
