CCS (Commercial Carrier Services) is part of the Southern American Companies, which also owns two other business ventures all located in Northeast Tennessee. We specialize in providing professional truck drivers to the ever-growing industry. Many of the United State's largest carriers seek out our students even before they graduate because of the high quality of personnel provided to them in the past by CCS.
Students that attend our training often earn above average pay and get better jobs because of their "hand on" skills and ability to do the job. Our school atmosphere is very relaxed as are our instructors. We have found this to be the best way to teach people to handle these magnificent machines. CCS uses state of the art equipment and allows all students to participate in many of the operations of our carrier services, which are located at the same facility as our training center. Students will be trained on tractors with 10 speed transmissions and trailers from 40' to 53' in length.
In just 3 weeks you can be on your way to a better future by being a professional truck driver. As you advance in your career you'll be amazed at how little it cost you to become part of an industry that offers unlimited potential at every turn. Spending only $2,700 could put you on your way to a job that pays $30,000 + the first year. Most college graduates won't make that much money and they'll go to school for 4+ years, not 3 weeks.
CCS Professional Driver Training Program is a three week course designed to prepare individuals for entry level positions in the trucking industry. Our Professional Driver Training Program will provide the student with the training needed to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License with the Hazardous Materials Endorsement. Classes are from 8am until 6pm, Monday through Friday. Our students are trained using 10 speed transmissions in conventional style tractors with trailers ranging in length from 40 to 53 feet long.
Remember, we are not just in the business of training students, we are in the trucking industry as well. While training at CCS students will have the opportunity to see tractor-trailers at work. Who can be better at training truck drivers than other truck drivers? All instructors must perform actual tractor-trailer operations on a regular basis. We have found this to be the best way of keeping our instructors up to date on their training techniques. This gives the student the highest level of instruction.
